The
Hammond High School Boosters
would like to thank all of our volunteers
who make the Boosters activities so successful!
If
you missed the opportunity to purchase Sally Foster products during
our brochure sale, or would like to purchase more, it's not too late!
Sallyfoster.com is open year-round
and Hammond can still earn 50% profit
on all orders placed on our behalf. To find out how, see the FLYER.
The boosters would like say thanks to everyone who
participated in
this year's Sally Foster fundraiser. Because of your efforts, we
sold $9,078!
Hammond will profit 50% of those sales or $4,539.00. As always,
we appreciate
your support in making this a successful fundraiser. Our top sellers
this year
all won $25 Target gift cards. They are:
~1st - Corri
Schroeder (sold 36 items - $353.00)
~2nd - Sarah
McCauley (sold 35 items - $337.00)
~3rd
- Madeline Chervenak (sold 34 items - $294.00)
~4th - Ian Carchman (sold 29 items
- $287.00)
Everyone
who submitted an order was entered to win a $50 Visa Card. That lucky
winner was Olivia Plazak. The staff basket was won by Ms. Petrlik.
Congratulations
to all our winners and thanks again to everyone for supporting Hammond
High!
Thanks
to everyone in the Hammond Community for their support of
the Bull Roast on Sunday,
March 1, 2009! Hammond
High School Boosters
provide monetary support for Hammond clubs, teams, drama, music
and dance groups. In order to fund these school programs, the Boosters
hold
special events like this, where 100% of the profit goes back to the
school.
Commemorative
Brick Program: The HHS
Boosters has reinstituted
the commemorative
brick program at Hammond! This is an opportunity for students,
staff and alumni affiliated with Hammond High School to leave their mark
on the school. The original program installed
bricks in the sidewalk near
the main office. The reinstituted program will install a new brick
patio in the grassy
area around the flagpole in front of the school. (See
Picture.) The patio will
begin in the center around the flagpole and can be expanded until the
entire grassy area between the front doors is replaced by a beautiful
brick patio. When
finished, this patio will include hundreds of personalized bricks that
will last
a lifetime.
Each
brick is 4" X 8" X 2 ¼" and can be personalized
to hold 3 lines of 15
letters. Leave a lasting memory of the mark that YOU left on Hammond.
The
cost is $80 per brick, $150 for 2 bricks. Eighty dollars may sound
like a lot of money;
however, many organizations charge $100 dollars or more per brick.
Orders
for this year will be accepted until Friday, May 29, 2009.
The new
brick
patio will be installed prior to the start of the 2008-2009 school
year. We need
100 orders to initiate the program. Please pass along this information
to
your neighbors who have kids that graduated from Hammond over the last
few years.
We will be posting a notice in the Columbia Flier, however, we do not
have a viable mechanism to contact them directly.
