Media Department Overview
The study of television production provides students with the theoretical
background and hands-on experience necessary to produce television broadcasts
and videos for instructional purposes. Lectures and student productions are
interwoven to produce a comprehensive understanding of the television medium.
Students will work individually and in small groups as they plan, design, and
produce video programs that are consistent with the basic principles of
instructional design and which demonstrate an understanding of the concepts of
video production.

Mr. Bryan Eber is the band
director and Fine Arts
Instructional Team Leader at
Hammond High school. He
received a Bachelors degree from
Towson State University in 1988,
a Masters degree in Music at
Towson State University in 1996,
and a Certificate in
Administration and Supervision
from Loyola College in 2000.
Mr. Eber directs the Marching
Band, Symphonic Band, Concert
Band, Jazz Ensemble, and
Percussion Ensemble. Music
ensembles at Hammond HS
perform concerts throughout the
year, and perform at district and
national festivals and
consistently receive superior ratings.

Allen Leung, Orchestra Director. Music classes offered to students
include: Band, Chorus, Orchestra, Percussion, and Guitar.
Music ensembles at Hammond HS
perform concerts throughout the year, and perform
at district and national festivals and consistently receive superior ratings
at festivals and competitions, and the performing ensembles include:
Symphonic Band, Concert Band, Marching Band, Jazz Ensemble, Orchestra,
Concert Choir, Madrigals, Guitar Ensemble, Percussion
Ensemble and Barbershop Quartets.
